Here the tropical waters are temptingly warm all year round. The people are among the friendliest you're likely to meet. The cuisine, Thai and international, is outstanding.

Diving is one of the safest recreational activities, with the proper instruction. Our course choices are comprehensive and extensive. That's because we're one of the few dive centres in Thailand that offers the complete range of SSI and PADI certification courses from beginner to professional instructor.      

Diving is amazing and with a step-by-step approach, you'll see just how easy it is to learn. A few days is all it takes to reach Open Water Diver level. 

Diving courses with Sea Bees are conducted in an enjoyable, relaxed atmosphere. We use air-conditioned classrooms, books, slides and videos for theory, and large swimming pools for your first underwater experience. 

As part of the course, we're always excited to show you the brilliant underwater world of the Andaman Sea. Our dedicated instructors will make your diving course with Sea Bees a memorable and rewarding experience. 

Our beginners are always surprised to discover just how easy it is to become a diver. Whichever course you choose, upon completion you'll be a fully certified diver who can explore and enjoy the fabulous underwater world!

Phuket is Thailand's largest island which is located 900 km south of Bangkok in the Andaman Sea. The majority of Phuket's tourism can be found along the island's west coast beaches of Patong, Karon and Kata, where you'll find bustling bars, restaurants, custom tailors and lots of very affordable shopping. 

The dive centre
Sea Bees has been successfully operating in Phuket for more than 12 years. We now have several outlets. Our main office and teaching centre is conveniently located near Phuket's central harbour in Chalong Bay. 

Our modern facilities include a customer service counter, equipment sales showroom and equipment rental and servicing, including tank service and filling station. The schooling centre is loacted just a few minutes away at our Palm Garden Resort, and offers multi-media air-conditioned class rooms as well as a 3m deep training pool. 

Adjacent to the dive centre is our cosy restaurant where you can enjoy vibrant Thai and international cuisine or have a chat and a beer with your dive buddies. 

The diving
Your enjoyment and safety under water are our number one priority. There is a max ratio of four divers to one guide if you feel like joining one of our guided groups. Of course, you and your buddy can also discover our beautiful dive sites on your own after a thorough briefing. 

Phuket's dive sites average between 18 - 30m, and offer easy to medium diving levels. Drop-offs, small caves and wrecks are present as well as bizarre rock formations and coral gardens. The maritime life of the Andaman Sea is very verstaile, and offers amongst many tropical fish also rare species such as sea horses and ghostpipe fish. Leopard sharks are frequent companions during our dives, and from time to time a manta can be seen in flight. 

The dive sites in the Similan and Surin Islands are in general slightly deeper, and the fantastic visibility of usually not less than 30m is captivating. These dive spots are suitable for all diving levels and offer a large diversity of marine life. Coral fish, barracuda, sharks and during February and May even manta and whalesharks make a divers heart beat faster.  

Khao Lak - a divers paradise, just 60 km north of Phuket

Khao Lak, on the west coast of Thailands mainland, is located only one hour drive from Phuket International Airport. Mile-long white sandy beaches as far as the eye can see. 

Bordered in the south by the Khao Lak National Park, and the famous Khao Sok Nationalpark in the north lies this region nestled in a picturesque landscape at the bottom of a tropical mountain side. 

Khao Lak is the ideal starting point for day trips to the Similan Islands, or a liveaboard trip to Richelieu Rock, Koh Tachai and Koh Bon.  

The dive centre
Our shop is integrated in our Palm Garden Resort - Khao Lak, close to hotels, restaurants and shops. 

The diving
The dive sites on our day trips are carefully selected, and the max ratio of each group is four divers to one guide. The Similan Islands are visited six times a week and Koh Bon once weekly. These sites are rated amongst the "Top Ten" dive destinations in the world, and we are happy to be able to visit them daily with our guests. In addition, our dive trips take us on a regular basis to Boonsung Wreck with it's overwhelming abundance of marine life. 

A diving highlight is Richelieu Rock where each dive is special.
